Not at Hild and Bede, its been sunny eversince I woke at 9:00... The world is not such a good place because of the lack of Information Technology service at Weekends. But My friend let me use her username, which is not suffering from the difficulties of mine, so it is a good place really. I'm actually in a good mood again, now I've finally got on

It started to snow just before 9 where I am...and it didn't last for long...but I'm glad you're happy again.

How are you this sunny snowless day? I've never experienced proper snow, I went back to M/cr before winter kicked in properly in Durham, and it rarely if ever snows there.
Would you like me to get you a donut?

Sure, I'll have an S3.
It hasn't snown for months up here, almost got a white Xmas though...the snow didn't stay around for long this morning though, which is a shame. But it *is* nice and sunny now though.

If I weren't writing a talk I'd go for a walk...
But the trouble with snow and ice here is that it makes hills truly dangerous... at the start of the year we wondered why all the paths have handrails... then it got icy.

True.
Ever tried to walk up Redhills when it's all snow & ice, whilst carrying a bag & a clarinet? It's not easy, but it's worse coming *down*. You have to get the hang of pulling yourself up all the banks in Durham during the winter I think.

I got to the point at the beginning of term where although I love the stars, I'd pray for a cloudy evening... clear evenings are followed by frosty mornings, and I had to leave early to have time to cross Baths Bridge *carefully*

Hmm...well I know very little about that...we did it a few modules ago, but that's just A-level. Still, if there's anything you want me to find out for you, just ask.

Thanks... I guess I'm going to say what it is (from the textbook) What questions it raises (wave-particle duality) That it occurs in nature... in aurora borealis, kind of, I'm not so sure about that, and that you can use it for energy generation... and thats all!

Well, it sounds like you've got it all figured out.
I'm going to disappear for 10min while I install something, but I'll be back as soon as I'm done.

It's snowing again!
I haven't gotten it to work...
...how exactly are you supposed to install a microphone when there's no installation disk, and it doesn't appear to be "plug and play"?
Mmmmmm Donuts
J'au-æmne Posted Feb 12, 2000
Do you not just plug it into the relevant socket?
Have a donut!

That's what I've done, but windows isn't even acknowledging it's existence. I don't know what to do with it...well I have an idea...
...back soon again...
