Hi - can I have one drink for the price of two?
(Not that uncommon in many bars etc near)

Why were you that popular with the postman this morning?
*Hands over one drink and charges double nothing*

For the first time in my life I got a Valentines card
And yes, I am 20.... I just never bothered dating before Sarah as I didn't see the point as there wasn't anyone I thought was the one.

Congratualtions last year I split up with my then girlfriend on the 31 January, two years before it was Valentines, 6 month anniversary on 17th, her birthday 18th, that was one expensive week.

I'm not sure if that's a have two of whatever for the price of one or a have a happy hour single.

Yeah propably right. Can I get you a drink while you're here? It's been a bit slow recently and must of been down on page 3 of my forums until you walked in.

And it was way down on my list of forums too, but it's so quiet at the moment that I'm being forced to reply to them...

Sorry Saffi had't realised you were here. One Strawberry dacherry coming up.
*DD does his impression of Tom Cruise from Cocktails and pours out the perfectly mixed drink with all the paraphinalia to Saffire*

*BB, however, is not amused as DD failed to be Tom Cruise, and covered him with umbrellas etc flung out of the metal shaker.*

Barman, a bloody mary thankyou...
Has anybody told you, you look like Tom Cruise's stunt-double ?
* thinks to self, anyone with less than 3 arms & legs can be made to look like Tom Cruise in a medium closeup...the magic of hollywood *
* looks over to the colective masses *
* enigmatically thinks, what a waste *
* philosopher's busily get to work trying to decode the signifigance of this apparently random thought *
Don't mind me, I'm just getting 'hands-on' in my customer satisfaction service division.
- I did it MY way...

One Bloody Mary, and I could be Tom Cruise's stunt double if he were 7 inches taller.

...and that's with the platform soles he wears to come within shouting distance of his wife !
Let's see if you can serve the drinks as fast as I can consume them...
* barman has the unnerving feeling that he may have seen this reveller belting out his famous 'I did my way' refrain after a 'Millennia of nights' stand elsewhere *
* groans *
