h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*A large open space. Theres several panels allowing the room to simulate various environments, and in recent times a stable has been added for Dewback riders*

*The cadre enters and the dewbacks are put in there stables. The castellans and Od'sseus help ma'rol to build the dewbacks armour with intergrated stimulant injectors*

*They complete the nine sets of armour, complete with a cortosis head peice, and the fit them onto the Dewbacks. The stimulent injectors slide into place, ready to be used at the push of a button*

*Ma'rol, Od'sseus and the Castellans train with there sabres*

How you finding the armour Od'sseus

O: Its not too bad.. restrictive and feels heavy if i stay still

M: Hmm.. remember how you pull your sabre to you.. try doing the opposite.. focus it through your shoulders...

O: *Concentrates, the armour doesnt move*

M: The armours cortosis.. its practically immune to the power but the air around the armour isnt

O: *Stands still and a thin air pocket develops in the shoulder grove*

M: See? added flexibilty.. now lets see if you can use it

*There begin training again*

*The message from Cobal is relayed*

M: I think this wars coming to us son whether we like it or not

*The castellans nod in agreement*

O: Then what should we do

M: Prepare.. and when war comes be ready to face death

*They train*

M: Focus your mind od'sseus.. calm your emotions. Do not think of the world moving faster think of others moving slowly..

*Od'sseus calms himself and the world slows down for him. As if in slow motion he hears ma'rol*

M: Now try to strike me down

*Od'sseus' sabre flies from his belt and into his hand, and flies towards ma'rols neck at incredible speed. Ma'rol ducks and defends with his sabre to stop the blow, just about managing it. Ma'rol smiles*

M: That was good son.. too good

O: *Smiles, now in his mid teens* think your just getting tired old man

M: Old man eh? well lets see if you cant put your money where your mouth is *Ma'rol backs off and gestures to od'sseus* come on then

*Od'sseus smiles, then launches at ma'rol in a huge jump, making the heavy armour seem weightless. Ma'rol swings the one activated blade of his sabre to defend back and forth before jumping back and activating both blades*

O: Hey.. didnt know you could do that

*Od'sseus moves in to a defensive posture, and the two begin to spar again, the sabre flashing through the air faster and fast, with force speed turning the deul into a whirlwind of death. The two lose track of time, then Ma'rol force pushes Od'sseus into a wall then collapses*

M: Im exausted.. last time i fought like that.. your mother was usng the blade.. *od'sseus looks confused* no it wasnt like that.. just practicing.. *od'sseus nods in acknowledgement*

O: So how you do that then? throwing me into the wall?

M: *Struggles up and throws off the armour* its a simple case.. of the same technique.. you use for the sabre and the speed.. *Od'sseus nods trying to understand*.. try it on my armour.. its cortosis, so if you do it on that.. well you get my drift

*for several hours od'sseus tries with little success*

*The armour starts to shift, and with loud scrapping noises it moves along the ground*

M: Good... yes good *force pulls the armour to him and slides it back on* Your getting there son.. it'll be a few more days yet but with practice..

O: Theres something i want *tightens his armour*

M: Oh?

O: I want a second sabre.. and some bodyguards

M: *looks at od'seuss* there two different things son.. what exactly do you want.. i mean bodyguard wise?

O: I dont know... maybe fifty..

M: Not yet.. soon though, when your ready.. ill give you a bodyguard for you to train..

*Guard walks in and whispers in Ma'rols ear. He is followed by Laroo*

Laroo: I have a city full of clones, a war on my doorstep, and now the chancellor of the republic asks something of me.. it seems you escapades are drawing to much attention.

M: Indeed they are.. but that is of no matter.. i can still challenge the credibility of the chancellor, and it wont be too long before were in the senate.. one way or another *Laroo nods*

O: So you intend to wage the war then?

M: Yes.. but not yet

O: Good.. when the time comes.. i want Arras

M: *Laughs* sure.. although what exactly you want there is beyond me.. *Turns to Laroo* you musnt go outside of Kaminoan space, its asking for trouble, and i wouldnt put it beyond kellin to wound himself and blame it on you.. he wants war but he doesnt want to wait like we do..

Laroo: We can make the army bigger but we could do with claiming further resources. And we need somewhere to hide the army

M: Thats been taken care of. Ive order a gungan to be assigned to the ice queen and begin working.. the ship was destroyed a few hours ago, with all his work safely in our hands, meaning we can create at will and then sink the force under the sea until it needs to be utilised. The ships can then operate under skeleton crews by freezing 90% of the force in carbonite..

Laroo: *nods and turns to od'seuss* it seems we'll have an army for you to command soon young Mannan *laughs*

O: Good.. then i can train them myself

M: Not so fast my son.. first we must wait and prepare.. what ever Kellin comes to you with accept nothing until he sends a public invetation to Kamino.. ill go and see what the state of the senate is

*Guard enters*

*Followed by Co'bal*

M: Hello again Cobal.. you look like your here on buisness..

I have no idea, honestly, I was told to deliver the message to the PM and when I have /her/ agreement I can divulge the terms which /I/ have set down as /I/ will be incharge of proceedings

M: *laughs* what are the terms.. sounds like a trap if ever i heard one.. and before you say it no cobal, on this i cant have your word as a guarentte of protection.. not this time
