Reueben Spiring's Helicopter would like to announce the appointment of Mark Ramprakash as captain. While the committee were split between Rmaprakash and Hick, a copy of Playfair revealed that Ramprakash scored 2000 runs last year, comapred to Hick's 980.

Ramps is, of course, a top choice as captain, but it's worth reminding you that this year captains only score double *bonus* points.
The better comparison would be Ramps's ten centuries and four fifties, as against Hick's two and six respectively.
RSH have made the right choice, I reckon

Alfredo's Assassins would like to announce the appointment of Stuart Law as captain for the 2008 season. Stuart was the unanimous choice of the committee and we firmly believe that the squad assembled for the coming season can be successful under his leadership
