Third Round of Bedding Open!
Skankyrich [?] Started conversation Apr 7, 2007
The third and final round of bedding is now open. I realise that this puts anyone who has gone away for the Bank Holiday at a slight disadvantage, but frankly I'm working all weekend so you should be glad to be away
You may bed for as many players as you require to fill your squad, remembering that you must have one batsman and one bowler in your reserves. There are a couple of teams who do not have a recognised wicketkeeper; the penalties for not starting the season with one in your first XI will be severe, so it's in your interest to ensure that you recruit one pronto. In the event of tied beds, the first bedder will get the player as usual.
Bedding will be open until midday UK time on 16th April or until all beds are in, whichever is soonest. After this round, you will be able to bed for any unattached players, so the sooner we get this round wrapped up the better.
Incidentally, the season will start with the first ball of the County Championship a week on Wednesday. Players participating in World Cup matches after this time will score points in the ProPhortyPhifty League.

Before bedding I noticed an anomoly betwween what I had spent and what I was reported to have spent on the team sheet.
I've just done a run down the rest of the team sheets and find the same applies to other teams:
Freedie and the Streamers recorded total £880k actual £910k
Green and Gold Invicibles £735k - £810k
Jules’ Kronies £840 - £850k
Krazy Krikkit and Dodgy Wikkits £715 - £665k
Organcheese XI £700k - £785k
Sorry Cow and Tea Krikkit Klub £765 - £865k
The Down and Unders £820 - £800k
Just to let everyone else know in case they may need to adjust their bedding to fit the salary night cap.
