Being someone falls into the category of disabled, albeit recently, the humour would be good, Leonard Cheshire's disability site could be a good link.

I personally prefer 'Can you have Crips with that?'
People with disabilties do have a sense of humour, although being known as Fid or Fiddler, I never got the 'joke' of being called Flid or Phlid, i.e. Physically disabled Thalidomide.
Just a suggestion, but may be a step too fart. (pardon the poor pun)
