Nobody is actually killing anybody at the moment. One of the splitter groups is currently on a campaign of hoaxes. The political power has swung back to direct rule, but it is very much in caretaker mode for the present (ie three minister's 10 departments). Everybody has forgotten very much what they were fighting for and for 72 days of devolved power, be had pretty active government.
AS for what happens next I have no idea, I voted yes to the Good Friday Agreement in the hope that this was the best chance in hstory of getting this sorted out. I just hope all those in politics remember that 75.2% of us felt that way, and want the peace we've had more or less in tact for the last five years to remain.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
