The music I remember is few and far between. When you exceed two score years (yes over 40) it all fades away, but some things never die, Clapton reached out with Layla, and I will never forget. 461 Ocean Boulevarde was another memorable event in the earth's great history.

Good for you bub!
It seems almost funny. 23 hours is the quickest I've ever got to replying to a conversation in one of my articles. And now I've taking 3 weeks Internet leave. Ha bloody ha!
Layla sounds so wierd on the Dominoes album. You have 13 songs made up of blues/rock with strangled cat guitars, and then you have Layla. A classic, I must say.
My friend told me that Eric Clapton appeared on GMTV recently (ie a few months ago). They did this thing in which they got Layla, and took a clip for each word from each different concert in which he's played Layla. Sounded a right laugh.
See you in three weeks!

Hi, I'm still sitting here wondering, what I wonder about changes frequently. Having recently commenced a Social Sciences course with the Open University I'm now wondering about Identity, Gender and Nation. It will all change in a few weeks. I have not looked yet to see what the next subject will be. My first assignment is now complete, so I am being rewarded with some free time. Not quite, the cat is ill, my allotment garden needs digging, and I'm suffering from an identity crisis. Apart from that everything is wonderful. And how are You?

In a complete contrast, nothing quite so complicated is happening on my end. Been up Bristol today with the folks. Lovely place. Bought me some Iron Maiden material, an album and the single. The single I'm especially proud of as it's my first and unlike the albums these do not get reissued!
H2G2 is taking ages to load so that's bugging me. I've got some work that needs doing but that can wait. The band needs some serious work put into it though, just to get it off the ground. Watership Down is begging to be read for the 4th time.
Nothing very serious. What's this identity crisis then? Sounds heavy.
Key: Complain about this post
