Do you have any suggestions for things to make from macaroni and other pasta shapes?

If so, please submit your ideas to this forum and I'll try to include them on the page.

You could even do the obvious and cook it! Well now, aren't I clever! BTW, shouldn't this be 'Markaroni'? You could market it with this name and make it copyright. You'd make a fortune and the you could make a kind donation to 'The Lisa's Skint Fund' in view of the fact that I made this suggestion! Checks made payable to me. Thanks!!!

The whole point of this entry is to come up with ideas for using mcaroni other than the cooking and eating, and you're not skint.

Here's a sensible idea suggested by my nine year old sister.

1) Take a whole packet of dry macaroni and thread each piece on to a piece of string which is long enough to be dragged on the floor behind you.

2) Allow enough string at one end to loop it round your wrist and tie a knot to secure it.

3) Tie a triple knot at the opposite end to ensure that the macaroni doesn't fall off.

4) Paint the macaroni in bright colours.

5) Place your wrist through the loop.

6) Wham bam thank you man you have a pet snake to take for a walk.

If you pick out the more straight pices and stack them in groups of three on top of each other, then you have a fun, portable game of 'Jenga'
