I went into SETI and changed my user name from Luna to Luna(Queen of Hearts) so it matches.
Maybe I seem impatient to be on your list, I guess I am.
It's a compliment...I do not get this enthused very easily.

I also cut & pasted your link to this page......can you help me make the picture links to SETI work?
I keep getting a 'broken link' pic....but it will take you there, just can't see where you're going till you get there!!

Hi Luna,

Sorry if you had to wait. With all the changes the staff is making to the system I just start to dislike coming to H2G2, so I'm not here as often as I used to. Buttons switch places, things start looking cocky with all the unnecessary graphics... Ah well, that's not your fault.

You had your name linked to your page here, so the name didn't really need to match, but it makes things easier, so thanks.

The picture links are not really my devision, since that particular page was set up by Bruce. But I think I can help anyway: ordinarily, if you simply copy one of the URLs as shown under the pictures to your own page as the picture name, it should work. The link will look a bit wild in GuidML, but hey...

I know what you mean about the changes. I've only been coming regular again for the last few days, and that's mostly because of SETI. Marv insisted that, since I downloaded it and belonged to h2g2, I should join the h2g2 SETI@home group.
ipso facto..........

I'll use the picture links on h2g2 for now, but eventually I will figure out how to get that really cool pic from SETI.......the one with that shows a dish, then the alien fades in!

Mummy - I joined the setiResearchers weeks ago but I am still "in white" I have tried the link, but it comes up "cannot connect to server". I am also not linked as a Researcher on the right-hand side.
I have linked to the correct page on my homepage, and had this checked.
I have changed my seti name to my h2g2 name to see if this will help.

You have been on my list all the time BECAUSE you joined our group many weeks ago. However, when you first joined, I checked your homepage here on H2G2, and there was NO link to my pages, so I did not link your name either (so it automatically became white). Gold (linked) names are only for ppl who have made a link to "The SETI@home Project".

There is, however, one point to keep in mind: if you make the link to my page LATER, there is no way for me to find out, unless YOU leave me a message about it (You can not ask of me that I check all the pages of the unlinked ppl every day). I don't know when you made the link, but you told me only NOW, so NOW I can give you the link that you deserve.

This stuff *is* explained on the page where the list is, but I guess you missed a spot when reading that

As soon as I made the link, your name will automatically turn golden, and ppl can click to your page from here. Thanks for joining us, and also thanks for telling me now about your link.

I only just learned Guide ML, since I joined the h2g2 Researchers team.
I did try to link, typed in my seti name & up came a page "cannot connect to server" and every time I came back to look, I tried again, same result.
Hopefully it'll be OK now.

What I forgot to mention: the links in the right margin also automatically appear when I link your name. So, only the Golden names are shown there, which is logical.

The SETI@home site has had quite some trouble lately. Sometimes it's impossible for me to see the list of joined ppl there too, which also affects my work here, ofcourse. So I'm not surprised about you getting the "cannot connect to server" message.

Anyway, I can happily inform you that the link that you deserve is now working. Your name is golden too
