Magical Story

I believe that the loss of a pet in some ways in more difficult to get over than the loss of a human. Our pets demand very little of us, other than food (not very good food at that) and a small amount of our attention (they wait for 8 hours every day with nothing to do, just for us to come home) and in return, they give us their complete and utter devotion and love. You'll not find a person like that on the face of the Earth.
Sorry for your loss,

I think we truly love pets, because on the weekends you can walk around the house in your underwear, munching on ice cream for breakfast and flop on the couch and watch cartoons all day and no matter how silly or rediculous you act, they don't judge us. They just accept us however we are and give us their affection and love without constraints, without conditions and without reservations. Just thought I would add this in.

That was beautiful and oh so true. The love that a pet has is completely unconditional. A cat may get angry at you and trash the house or pee in your shoe for something, but you always know that s/he still loves you and will be there if you nee him/her. This is a very important thing and not something that we can normally get from a human - unless that human is very special indeed.
