A Conversation for What Does the Internet Mean to You?

Despite all the range of (varying quality)info on the web, the most important bit by far is just keeping in touch with far flung friends and family. My sister moved over to Seattle from the UK this year, but thanks to the wonders of email I still speak to her every day. In the Olde Dayes we'd have been reduced to the odd letter and brief phone calls once in a blue moon.
Oh, I suppose it's made working life that bit easier in terms of tracing relevant software companies and for the news junkies among us we find out what's happening everywhere that bit quicker. But it's still email and communities like this that keep me logging on.
