A Conversation for What Does the Internet Mean to You?
the Internet to me.

What does the Internet mean to me. Well, most importantly, the internet is how I met my wife to be. It allowed me to meet a person who is very dear to my heart, who could make no judgements on me with regards to appearance. We fell in love just by conversing, being witty and having a lot of fun. We never expected it to go this far, but it has. We've been together for close to 3 years now. They say long distance relationships never work. Perhaps in the past this was true. But the advantage of the internet is that you can communicate all the time for very cheap. E-mail is instantaneous, not like mail where it could be several days wait to get that little note or card or whatever. I can talk to her at any hour with a simple message, or a full out chat in ICQ. Without this tool I don't think we could have lasted this long at all.
Being the information junkie that I am, the internet just makes it all the easier to access anything that tickles my fancy that particular day, and again it's just a few clicks away.
