Two things...
Anyone here seen RedBulletin (Red Bull's F1 newspaper)? They would've been giving away copies at Silverstone if anyone went, and I noticed other copies turned up last week packaged up with Autosport, Autocar, and various other petrol-head mags in the newsagents. I've had a quick read and I like it. I'm going to sit down with a cuppa and give it a thorough read just now.
Also, H2G2F2one scores are in (finally):

Spain - F3615994?thread=3177140
Monaco - F3615994?thread=3177147
Great Britain - F3615994?thread=3177156

I got a copy of Red Bulletin with F1 Racing mag. Looks good!
I'm updating the tables on the main page now... got a bit behind

Was yours the Silverstone race-day issue too?
I read mine cover to cover earlier today. There's some good stuff in it. I particularly like:
Robert Doornbos writing "No Lear jets for me. If I want a private jet like DC I need to break later and put the throttle on earlier."
The F1 Sim City feature where the Super Aguri HQ is a cut-n-shut car dealer, a dodgems ride and a casino.
The interview with William Shakespeare - too many good bits to quote.
The 'Where's Bernie' picture (like 'Where's Waldo', just you're looking for the big E).
As Max Mosley says "it is irreverent in style" and "over the top at times".
If only I could subscribe .

That's the issue I got - took me aaaaages to find Bernie! Not read the whole thing yet, I did what I do with F1 Racing:
Flick through and read the eye-catching bits
Go through again and read anything that looks interesting
Read everything I didn't read in the first two goes
It all comes of having a short attention span!

I found Bernie in about 5 seconds. I felt cheated: wanted a real good look, as you do, and instead, there he was, plain as day.
Ahh, F1 Racing. I used to read that a lot.
I started reading it because (a) Matt Bishop was writing/editor for it, and (b) it was a fresher look at F1 rather than getting bogged down with the repetetive weekly F1 news in Autosport.
I _stopped_ reading it because (a) Matt Bishop was getting a bit much for me, and (b) it wasn't quite as up-to-date as the snappy instant weekly F1 news in Autosport.
The last F1 Racing issue I read was maybe a year ago - the one with all the circuits designed in Scalextric. I tried out a few cut-down versions with my limited space/track.

Blimey! I've just dug out the pages I kept with those Scalextric track designs and it says "2003 season preview", so it's been 3 years since my last copy of F1 Racing!
Does Matt Bishop still write for it? Maybe I should give it another go?
As for your short attention span - doesn't everyone read mags like that? Read the good bits, then the average bits, then the rest (just to get your money's worth).

Matt Bishop is editor-in-chief I think, but I love the magazine. I'm not interested in any other motorsport, so Autosport would be a waste of money for me!
Key: Complain about this post
