I wrote that 'short' entry on driving in Egypt! Apologies if you think it rather on the short side but there is a good explanation!
It was way back in 1999 (when many of the entries were somewhat more lighthearted) and written as part of a collaborative effort. Originally they were all cobbled together on one page - I think if you check out A412912, A412840, A412886, for example, you'll see that all the entries in that category are comparatively short. 
I'm not sure why they re-did them as separate entries. Perhaps it was because some later entries came along. Still, it was nice looking through the names of all the ancients of h2g2... Researcher numbers higher than 55000 hadn't even been thought of way back then
