.......is cruel bad barbaric they claws are there defence and climbing aids 'save the claws' what do you think of this issue?

agreed, but then again some argue keeping pets at all is unnatural as it keeps them in a perpetual infantile state (especially s)

true but we have a to look after the animals as dogs are a domestic wolf basically and humans breed dogs for their own use or style. Okay some cats are bread like that too but not to the degree dogs are breed and inbreed.

true, I can't imagine some of the pedigrees surviving without us
I'm defnitely against docking tails or declawing
Neutering cats is a harder issue
I can see good arguements for it but it still seems a cruel thing to do

Well i think nutering and spaying cats is a good idea as cats get feline aids. Then the is a hugh populating boom as kittens can become pregnant withing 6 months.

I agree given cats tendency to breed like rabbits neutering is probably neccessary to neuter them, I just don't like the thought of it

Well it does seem cruel but cruel to be kind lots of cats die of womb infections.

apparently in Florida now when they catch domesticated cats gone wild they neuter them
2 reasons
1) not as nasty as killing them
2) cats have a territory so killing them means a new one moves in
