Tell me about it. We look at what we can afford and then when I get the maps out to locate the property, FC starts to peruse the houses at the top end of the market. It's almost like Jim Bowen 'Here's what you could have won' but it's not too bad up here actually we can get something pretty decent until she graduates and ups our spending power considerably.

*finally manages to get to the labeled for him, though unsure if he should drink it as he fears his liver might just up and leave after the weekend*
Menza I never got around to saying it earlier, but nice to meet you finally.
DD. Where the were you and FC? Thought you were coming down for the meet? Plus I promise we will arrange to get together sometime soon. Life has taken a trun for the worse, workwise.
Will email you later in the week and explain all.
*regards for a mo, then drinks it*
What the hell, after this weekend, i'm a happy man. Not quite 'Corners' I suppose, but just as good

I'm sure I was sitting in the quiet bit, I think I missed most of the fun. But chatting to every one was great.

Well, I was sitting just in front of you, on bar stools, with Pegasus for most of the evening. So yes we were in the quieter section, I suppose, but I still managed to miss a hell of a lot of it

Well there were more people there than you could realistically talk to in one evening.

Very true. I had an excellent time. I really want to go to the next one, but just not sure if I can. Manchester and Glasgow are both out. But the sooner something is organised for xmas time the easier it will be for me to arrange to go.
better make mine another while you're there.

Well, as I said if I can, i can. I really want to, but many factors need to be considered, many of which I have absolutely no control over

Hi Babel, sure drop us a line and let us know what is going on.
As for where we were. I had just driven the whole way down to London to collect FC and all her Uni stuff the weekend before. And so another trip to London the following weekend just wasn't really feasible time or money wise, especially as I'm still only on a temps salary for another 2 days that is before I take on the post on a permanent basis and get a bit more money. Sorry we missed you.
But no doubt one or other of us will cross the Forth in the not too distant future to have a good old catch up.
