A Conversation for The Feline and Fiddle

I came in a bit late in the conversation, and mostly caught the Subaru bit... (Actually I think I'd already replied before I read the request for defence.) I think there may have been a hint of "Not another Ferrari fan" (in the same vein as "Not another Manchester United fan"...), but I didn't notice any particular sexist presumptions.
But maybe this is just because I'm an insensitive bloke.

*grins*
no that was when he called me a poser and insulted the entire nation of Ferrari fans...
The main bit I objected to was on the previous page I guess, when I was told about there being more to a Ferrari than the "shiny black horsies" on the front...
*takes deep breaths*
But it's ok... I'm used to this...
*breaths*
It's fine

So I've misunderstood then? I thought this was where this 'horse power' I've heard so much about came from.

Having gone back and read the thread again, I've come to the firm conclusion that I've actually got no idea what he was on about.

I don't perplex you, I'm sure the word you mean is astound
*starts laughing*
Maybe bewilder then?
The Snug
Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Dec 17, 2000
Well I was going to use "awe inspiring" but I thought maybe that was too strong a word...
Well bewilder is possibly more accurate than perplex...although maybe perspex?

IanG Posted Dec 17, 2000
Awe inspiring? As in 'awful'?
Perspex is transparent, which implies a certain degree of clarity, so I'll stick with perplexed, thanks! And bewildered. Bewildered and complexed. That seems to sum it up nicely.

No that'd be eargh inspiring
Bewildered and Complexed? Hmmm...
*grins*
How about Bewildered and confused?

It's difficult to type something when I seem to have turned up in the middle of an in-joke, so I'll mention my disappointment at finding that both [email protected] and [email protected] had gone. Better than someone I know who thought he could get hold of [email protected], though.

It's not an in joke at all... it's just me causing confusion, it's fine
Umm...I have so many trashy e-mail addresses, all of which are foolish like that and generally revolve around the Weakest link and complete bewilderment

Fairy nuff. I think we debated the relative merits of confusion and understanding previously.
Now there's an idea: [email protected]. Where was that site?
