Yes, the Mega PC was a 386 - a 386 SX no less .
But I don't surf with it - I use the university PCs for that. They're quick, and free, so why not?

It must be a bit of a collectors item now, being something of a rarity.
Like, say, the Sinclair C5.

I always wanted a Sinclair C5! I have ZX Spectrum, ZX Spectrum +, +2, +2a and a non-working +3. My grandad had the Sinclair watch, ZX 80 and ZX 81 (sadly we never got the Spectrum 128k, which was the one I really wanted - beautiful keyboard! ) I bypassed it to get a Sinclair QL.
But did I ever see a C5? No.
Perhaps it was because I was still a nipper in the 80s.

Maybe it's the one I threw out of my bedroom window last night...
Is it HUGE, eveil and mean with nasty sharp pointy teeth?

I've seen a C5! They've got one in a motor museum somewhere - Beaulis(sp?) I think.
Is anyone serving in here?

I've actually seen a C5 being driven. There's at least one person in Cambridge with one. (Possibly Sir Clive Sinclair, I suppose.) Doesn't drive it much though.

IanG Posted Aug 22, 2000
Is that because you aren't based in Cambridge, or because you don't own a C5? Or both?

I can't believe you're being so calm after being run over by a huge nasty viscious spider with nasty sharp pointy teeth and poisonous fangs and blatant evilness and 8 big long hairy legs and biting teeth and did I mention the fangs?
Do you still have your foot intact?

Better than being run over by a C5. Well, then again, maybe not...

I think I'd prefer the C5...at least you'd see it coming spiders tend to lay in wait and then sneak up and pounce...and bite

They got trampled by spiders...huge armies of HUGE spiders with nasty sharp pointy teeth and HUGE trampley hairy legs...and fangs and biting...
*wonders whether her arachnaphobia is getting worse*
