*kitty goes back and gets another leather bowl and carries it to the ashes, using a large furry paw, he sweeps some of the ashes into the bowl.. he then goes to menza and takes menza's sleeve in his teeth... pulling him back to the bowl...as if to say "pick it up and carry it"*

~~...the whisp sees the ashes in the bowl and does a quick dance on kitty's nose, then on mnnzrr's head, dives into the bowl and settles in the ashes...~~

[As they reach the cave entrance, the scene shimmers slightly, Menza catches a glimpse of a beautiful grassy green slope, then a dense tree-filled forest, an icy tundra and finally it settles on a glooping murky swamp - even the air is thick and moist and murky. There are stepping stones just outside, just far enough apart that Menza has to stretch his stride and balance carefully in order to follow Kitty out into the swamp]
