Love is something I've never really got the hang of, always fall for ones who don't want to know me and don't want to know those who fall for me (and there are the odd one or two, contrary to popular myth, though they do tend to be very, very odd...)

That sounds very familiar. Those rare few that do seem to fancy me are genrally excluded on grounds of insanity.
