Touch slow, as I didn't sleep after the new year celebrations I spent most of today catching up.

My wee beasties (children) are getting bored, restless, argumentative and fighting amongst themselves. They're also in danger of being put up for adoption..... any offers?

Sorry, I'm currently not offering to adopt any children at this time... I can't remember what it was that put me off them, or whether it's just general anti-Christmas-NewYear-spirit.

Yes - the ginger wine gives cider an extra "something". It is quite refreshing and warming.

I didn't have my first child until I was 30. I'd always said that I was going to be steralised at 30 (my G.P. wouldn't consider the operation before then) but I accidentally fell pregnant at 29 and gave birth on my 9th wedding anniversary, 14 days after my 30th birthday! Until then I'd avoided children like the plague and there I was, presented with this "object" that cried a lot and I had to figure out which end required attention! Fortunately, I returned to work full time when Mair was 10 weeks old and my wonderful childminder introduced me gently to the art of looking after children. Three years later, I had my second who unfortunately has turned out to be autistic but he is so sweet and I love him to bits! (I'd still like to hire 'em both out if there are any offers - just for the remainder of the school holidays!)
