So typical. When I arrive, everyone's gone. And still haven't captured the atmosphere of the original.

Here, have two drinks on me.

I've decided to adopt smiley - ale as the smiley for a pint. If it catches on, who knows? It may even become a proper smiley... What do you think?

hahaha! smiley - smiley Just spent ages trying to work out what a smiley - ale was as a result of a comment on it on a nother forum. I'm enlightened smiley - smiley Sounds like an excellent idea. Though there's something studenty about just having the ascii original smiley - bigeyes

Put it to good use. A smiley - ale of Drumroll, o self-service handpump.

Hey, this new smiley - ale is pretty good! It certainly holds the brown stuff better than the word 'pint'. I tried it with it written on a piece of paper, but it just got soggy and I sucking beer off the floor.

Glad you all like the idea! If you say so in the forum
http://www.h2g2.com/forumframe.cgi?forum=24306&thread=27044
then perhaps we can put it to the people as suggested, or we could just leave it like this. I'm quite pleased I've had a good idea for once! smiley - ale
