Bit muggy though. Anyone know how long this weather is likely to last? Only I don't have to go into work until next week and feel like sitting in the garden all day watching films and drinking cold beer But if it's going to rain I don't think I'll bother.
Hi all by the way.

Indeed.
*basks in the sunshine*
* inside and come back out with an armful of ice lollies*
Anyone want one?

Hmmm... sunny... nice....
*sits under a tree, covers herself in fake tan then attaches a straw to the keg and lies back to sunbathe in the shade*

Ah, well I'm off to Felixstowe on Friday, possibly Thursday night, and will be sat indoors (or the beer garden) all weekend.
Has anyone actually ever made lollies though? I'm intrigued by this.

I would stretch out, but it takes too much effort and my back would probably lock.
Can I grab one of those s though? Mighty thirsty work coming back from the pub.

I made cider lollies... it doesn't work so well! Well actually it does, see if you put a fruit pastille in the bottom of them, the cider and the alcohol part of the cider must have different freezing temperatures so all the alcohol sits at the bottom and soaks into the fruit pastilles so when you take them out of the ice lolly moulds the top bit tastes exclusively of alcohol and the rest just tastes odd.

Weeell, in the far inferior reality some call Real Life, I'm not sure, but we've got them here and that's the main thing

Ah, I've got this annoying habit of mixing this with real life though... which reminds me, I've got beer in the fridge downstairs and a Eurovision Song Contest Party to plan...

me and some friends made vodka and sparkling wine jelly once. I'm not too sure what happened, but the alcohol sort of distributed unevenly, so some bits of the jelly tasted nice and some just tasted like vodka in solid form
