This just in:
The voice of Murray Walker will not be heard this weekend. The 'broadcasting company' has said it wants to test public reaction to another voice prior to Murray's retirement. Damn, he was just starting to get the legs on that ..uhm ..other guy.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand! I haven't seen anything like it since the late, great Ayrton Senna was replaced by Maureen from "Driving School" for the Bolivian Grand Prix back in 1948... er, 84.

It`s this sunday, isn`t it.
Personally I will be glad to see the back of Murray Walker.

How can you say that about a man who gave us such colourful phrases as: "Welllll, if that's not a blown engine, I'm a Chinaman!"
Qualifying starts in 23 hours. The race is Sunday, 24 hours later.
In the meantime, there are lots of on-line sites to follow the practice and qualifying scoring in real time and side bar stories.
I would love to post about a dozen URLs but ...you know how it is.

I feel sorry for people who are new to the sport having to listen to murray, they won`t have a clue what`s going on

It'll be James Allen and Martin Brundle this week boys.
But as I've said so many times before, catching is one thing, passing is quite another indeed.

Wow, it's like Murray's really here...
I thought they'd announced at the beginning of the season that Murray wasn't going to Brazil? Bring back Mark Blundell I say, he was great... In fact I still think Jody Scheckter would be best
*wafts Ferrari flag at Menza*
You'll be pleased to know that DC suprised everyone and was quickest in today's practice... and the qualifying's on ITV a 4.30pm tomorrow and the race is 5.20pm on Sunday

Good thing Murray ain't there this week.
With all the thiefing of laptops (8) from Jaguar pits and wheels and tires from others and the local police advising all the crews to carry handguns if they go shopping... The track now has armed guards everywhere!
Murray would be spittin' mad at the Brazilians and causing all sorts of diplomatic probs with an inevitable 'personal opinion' of the state of Brazilian culture, ethics and policing.
.
On a personal note I am saddened by the circumstances of Button and the lack of result from Ford/Jaguar. But, with seven potential winners in the top ten spots it should be a classic race. I just hope Jacques doesn't do something stupid.

Look out for them on QVC's next Formula One Memorabilia hour.
So - Verstappen/Montoya - what happened there then?

Dutch courage.
Dutch treat.
Dutch cleanser.
Dutch door.
Double Dutch.
Dutch and go.
The windmills of you're mine.
Choose one.

Foot slipped...

Hummph...
I'm beginning to think that being a Jenson Button, Jacques Villeneuve and Eddie Irvine fan is not a good plan ...

But you have always like DC. He's a winner.
And the others would be if they had the gear.
