Footnote links

Could footnotes be linked so clicking on them (or their number?) takes you back up to the relevant lines of the entry?
That would be great, especially for long entries with loads of footnotes.
Been asked for before?
Never in a million years?
Of course! Why didn't I think of that?

PS. Thinking about it, the links should work both ways, text mark to footnote and footnote to text mark.
And while I'm in picky mode, how about getting the Guide Index to ignore the "The" at the start of entries beginning with "The".
Otherwise, about 80% of the Guide will be filed under "T".
It's not a big deal, but it would possibly make the Index slightly more useful.
Actually, at least if evrything is under "T" you have one place to go and look if it's not under the letter you expect.
I think I'll reseal this can of worms while I still can!

Hi
The linked footnotes (down & back) are apparently already on the "To Do" list over at TDV Towers.
There's also a bunch of stuff somewhere in the pipeline that will change the way the site is searched - when I'm not sure but rumour has it that its scheduled (tentatively) for the end of January
