OK I am a "girl" or at least a woman - but lets face it cider is twice as strong as beer and tastes 3 times as nice...I disagree with your taste test -I am drinking stro**bo* at the moment but scr**py ja** is better. And so is *ry *lackthorn. (are the**'s essential - do you get refused a pint if you write the proper name?).

Of course any "proper" scrumpy is infinitely better if more deadly than any of the above.

Oh yes, nearly forgot, I'm obviously a yokel - what's wrong with this eh?

*ddl*st*n*s is a truly excellent cider. I have had better, down in Zommerzet, by Blue Anchor bay. The Bicknoller Arms, as I recall. This stuff was not particularly cloudy, was the colour of rose gold and the taste of heaven. Sadly, I never found out the name of this brew & I spose you're all going to hate me for teasing you! Sorry.

I'm not remotely girly & I only drink zider or MadDog 20-20, so thrrpt!

Dunno what Death by Cider is - Lazlo Woodbine/Robert Rankin/Carlos the Chaos Cockroach drink it in "The Dance of the Voodoo Handbag" by....you guessed it- R.Rankin.

Dancing round the Voodoo Handbag is NOT advisable - however much c*der of whichever make you're drinking!
