Atkins Diet or Low Carbohydrate Diet

Yeah, right... eat all fat and protein, lose weight. Avoid sugar, starch, grains and other carbohydrates to force your body to burn fat for energy. It actually works if you are trying to lose weight. Time will tell if there are any long-term adverse affects. Recommended low carb foods: Sauerkraut, Sausage, Pork Rinds, Sugar Free Jello and Cheese. An important fact: Hard alcohol is carb free as long as it has no added sugar. Contrary to diet guidelines, you can still lose weight if you continue to drink beer.
