One more thing we overlooked though. The header 'First, catch your cat' should be changed. Although we know this is a joke and you then go on to say 'No don't', we can't risk it being taken out of context and seeming to encourage people to catch cats. The language should be more passive such as 'Acquire a dead cat'.

I've just watched Brainiac and the smallest room you can swing a cat in is 2.5 metres X 2.5 metres - saw this and thought of you.

How big was the cat?

Regular household cat size and shape - but not a real live one - a sort of stuffed cuddly toy type cat with cat lengthed tail.

Proper science like.

Had I not been forced to Elvis for a month I would have mentioned the 'Cat and Wheel' pub in Bristol, which is named after an old game that children used to play back in the distant past when tying a live cat to a burning cartwheel and rolling it down a hill was considered an acceptable pastime for kiddies.
