I think I need to put links in. Any suggestions?

Why is it displaying the way it does? Or is it just me?

Change from plain text to guide ml - then the text will at least look nice. I'm sorry, I merely skimmed the description, I can't bring myself to read this (and I can't imagine why anyone would want to skin a cat). You'll have to wait for others to comment.

B'El, I can assure you I'm a cat-lover. I am owned by two myself. I had to be quite clinical as I was writing it. It just occurred to me that the Guide is good at "How to" pieces and the phrase "there'smore than one way to skin a cat" came up in a conversation.
I'm sorry if you find the subject matter upsetting.

Oh, I don't even like cats, that's not the reason. And theoretically, it's probably not worse than what we did to the eels we caught when we were kids. But something stops me from reading the gory details, that's all.

Same here. Now wash your hands...
I sent the link to a friend who dissected a cat in her anatomy lab last week. There's lots of reasons to skin a cat.
Even if you like it.
We had a pet chicken for a while and when she died we dissected her. Love expresses itself in many ways.

I was a bit naughty in linking "roadkill" with an entry about cyclists being safety conscious on the road. Maybe that was it.
Should I just remove the link & try re-posting?

Or maybe one of the Mods *is* a cat.
That would explain a lot.

No, I'd wait for the moderation decision to see what action to take.
It always annoys me greatly when this sort of thing happens in PR. PR, by its nature, often has to deal with difficult or contentious subjects. There's no opportunity to discuss how an article can be reworded or altered if it gets yikesed.
There's not a huge number of people subscribed to PR and those who are are generally 'old-hands'. It would have been preferable if we'd have had the opportunity to discuss things if someone found it offensive. Yikesing just delays the PR process.

Well, I've queried the mod's e-mail, which was just the usual catch-all one. They were quick to yikes it, hopefully they'll be just as quick to respond to the query.

Trouble is - the mods have referred it - and your query e-mail goes back to the italics... As its now Friday night, they might not see it till Monday morning.
