Did you ever notice how at the end of important American sporting events i.e. the Super Bowl, how the winning team always claims that "God was really with us today?" Does that mean God thought the other team unrighteous, or unworhty, or not pious enough? Sounds kinda prideful to me (Deadly Sin #1 if I'm not mistaken). I mean you don't hear the other team saying "Yeah, we were doing great 'til God made me throw that interception, then He went and tripped Joihnson, forcing him to fumble."
