i´ve tried to put the who´s online button onto my page, but when i wanted to get out of my edit-page, i couldn´t. why?

Sorry for the delay in answering - I didn't see your question before today.
Your page needs to be set to HTML or GuideML type - you can do this in the edit screen by selecting the radio button & then hitting "Change Type".
If your page is already HTML or GuideML type - what happened when you hit the "Update Entry" button?
