I am going to post this back up on the front page - but I want to get a bit closer to your closing date of 30th October before I do okay - that will make it more relevant - build up the suspense a bit before it is announced.

As it happens,I will have to close the *Straw Poll* site from Sunday....but voting may still continue and all votes will be registered! I will be *back in business* on Friday, however ,just in time to update things.In the time honoured tradition of a Democratic Constitution,the voters should not really know exactly who is winning as the voting draws to a close....so hopefully I will recieve slightly less attempts at *forged* email LOL.
Do you think that I should reintroduce the *Straw Poll* on friday night.....or just keep them all guessing?
I should think that it would be good to put another link up on the Front Page about Wednesday.....that way,anyone interested will have time to read and enjoy the machinations of all the candidates before sending in their vote
I will be delighted to send you the results first! I think that it will either be Fenny or Ant....it all depends on how many fabricated email addresses they slip past me! LOL
We are also planning a *Glittering Inauguration Ball*....if I can persuade everyone to take a silly picture of themselves wearing their *party best*.If so,would we be able to run it as a spoof page....on the veins of the rounders match??
On a slightly different subject......are there any plans for a *get-together* of h2gers before the new year? I was sad to have missed the rounders match,but would love to pop down and meet other obsessed fans of the site

OK Peta......now the poll is closed......I have had terrible probs with my comp...probably an overload of emails LOL......but I will email you all the info.......sorry.......returns....for the virtual Mayor in time for a weekend announcement.....If my comp crashes again I will have to send them by pidgeon post
