*dreams of $60000 guitar*
mmmm
*gets starry eyes at thought*
It'd be a 12 string accoustic which automatically tuned it's self right, natural wood finish, a pearl pickguard... *sighs*
peace.

'Sides it is so tough/annoying/hard to tune a 12 string...

Sure it can be fun if you're a frickin' music major who knows it all
I'd like to see you tune a 12 string... good.

It's called teach yourself...
I can't remember, what are the notes on a 12 string?

The Theory Posted Feb 12, 2002
I was thinking off the top of my head that it is high E low E high A low A High D low D high B low B high G high G high E high E... but I could be wrong... I am not a 12 string expert... yet...
peace.

Oh, , that's easy... sounds like you tune it the same way you do a normal 6 string... which isn't hard at all.

The Theory Posted Feb 12, 2002
But if one of the strings is just even an einsy weency off from it's higher or lower counterpart, the whole thing sounds like a mess... you have to get it exact... If it was just tuning the string to a certain note, that wouldn't be bad... but it is getting all strings to collectively sound good together...
peace.

A teesny tiny bit shouldn't matter a whole lot... especially if it's sharp.

Yup. The saying "it's better to be sharp than out of tune" is true. I kid you not.
