Look, I'm in at last

Whoops, I missed this edition of the post. It's good to be reminded of that day out. Poor bunged-up Hyp.

It's odd, but I don't remember visiting Saltaire. I guess I've been there quite a few times, so I've probably merged the visits together in my mind.

Yep. We definitely went to Saltaire.

It was a shame I felt so punk by the time I got to Yorkshire. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't run into any viruses next spring. I need to find out what to take before I go to boost my immune system.

That usage of the word "punk" doesn't appear in my dad's dictionary. Mind you, it's so old it doesn't mention Punk Rock either.

Here's to a healthy next visit. smiley - goodluck Was it definitely a virus? It's possible you were allergic to something.

I'm not sure what it was, Baggers. That's as good a theory as any. When I got home I was told that each region of the world has it's own common cold viruses and that people from other regions are more succeptible to them than the natives.

They vary within countries as well. At university they refer to "Fresher's Flu", because people come from all over bringing their own strains of minor ailments, which don't affect them, but do affect others. It's worst for the freshers who are away from home for the first time.

If that is what got you, hopefully you'll find your immune system's now accustomed to our British diseases.
