Bossel's Scouting Enterprises (BSE) proudly present:

from Spartus (http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/U15892) who appears to be lost, shopping in one of those huuuuuge malls over there.

I thought these were supposed to go into the "Flea Market" forum. Is it not so, or is this just extra advertising? (I ask 'cos I got confused and commented on another article before realizing it was apparently by another one of those extended luncheoning authors).

Yepp, in a sense you're right...
The Flea Market is for threads/entries which were abandoned by the researcher after they themselves put them up for review. Scouting from the unedited Guide is similar to putting a piece into the FM and instantly picking it up from there - without the first step which can be omitted

I beg to differ, this is one that would be fit to the PR as it is quite finished in the authoring sense.
If some Peer Reviewer sees something and posts it here, I'm sure it wouldn't be some big change/rewriting, so the sub-ed can incorperate/fix whatever it is the peer will say.

I'm actually not lost, just not around here a great deal anymore. Jimi X was kind enough to let me know that this was in the PR chain, so I thought I'd hop in and say hi real quick.
I wrote this about two years back and meant to fill in some holes that I noticed after finishing it, but never got around to it. If the sub needs any additional info on it and I don't respond to a message on my page, Mark and Peta know how to get a hold of me.
...Not that it's that crucial, but hey. As a former Sub, I know how frustrating it is trying to work on something that really isn't something you know much about, so I will gladly offer any help that's needed.

I think the best solution will be if you just pull your brush over the entry, finish it and then it'll be recomendable

In that case Spartus, is there anything you wish to see added before I plough through and edit it?

I have done the edit now... you can find it here:

I'll wait a couple of days and then send it back, unless you spot anything you want changing.
