I've been slacking now though. This one's been up for 3-4 days. I can't decide whether I should keep doing it now that I'm a sub-editor. Conflict of interest and all. Or maybe that's just silly and it doesn't matter. Any thoughts?

So long as its random, or reasonably so, I cant see its a conflict of interest. Its not like you're saying 'this is my favourite researcher'

Actually I think it's a good thing for eds and sub-eds to spread readers around. Never know what (or whom) they'll dig up. Can't be much different from Dancing Tree's Mystery guest... (If he's still doing that.)
