A Conversation for Sheep

Sparklers

I dispute the bit about no-one leading. The ones in charge are the ones with the sparkly eyes. If you can't get close
enough to guage the sparkliness, a simple experiment will sort the wheat from the trees: place the flock into a small
field with short grass, and put a strong, tight, and shiny fence between that field and a neighbouring field/road/ditch
with long grass. Pretend to go away and then watch from inside a hedge. Shortly, the sparkly eyed ones will appear
to melt through the fence, and proceed to eat the long grass on the other side. They will then grow to impossible
proportions and expire. No-one knows whether or not this is done on purpose.
