Your overlooking the upside of living in Cary. Where else in the universe can you go where the traffic rules are determined by the guy with the largest SUV. I thoroughly enjoy trying to determine whether the guy in the Suburban feels it's legal to run a red light today. It's especially exilerating because I drive a an Altima. This means that I never get to determine the rules of the road and I never have the right of way. I also find my life in danger from time to time.
I also enjoy mall parking etiquette. The car with biggest engine, and therefore the best pickup, gets the parking space. This, of course, is reguardless of how long the other guy has been patiently waiting for the spot with his turn signal.
