Hi all,

I have a photo that I think would go very well on my 'Petra' Entry, currently awaiting Editing, and another nice one of a giant panda for when that Entry gets through PR.

Where do I need to go next? Is it bad form to suggest photos for my own Entries? If not, how do I propose my Entries for photos, and how do I propose my photos for the Entries?

Can you send the Petra one direct to me, please? Then it will go live with a pic. The Eds may have a giant panda image in the BBC Library that they'd like to use, then again, they may not. It's still in PR, so when you're ready, send it through to me. I'll send you an invite to the club (I need your email) just email me at anniebarrnoneATyahooDOTcoDOTuk replacing the caps with your best guess please send the pic of Petra there.

That reminds me, what's the process for me getting photos put onto entries of mine that are already edited?

Presumably it still goes through the voting procedure in case someone else has something better.

How does it work? Most of them are already uploaded in my folder on the Yahoo group, I have a couple more to add.

Giford, your photos have been applied, unusually, the giant panda has been put on your unedited article in PR but I don't suppose it matters as they'll copy the code to the recommended article (when it's picked)

Elentari, I'll apply your photos give me a couple of days, I just subbed two large articles so haven't had much time for Photo club this week, sorry.

Hi GB,

When you get a chance, I've added some more photos in my folder for existing EG entries. The Treasurer's House one is the best I can get at the moment because it's not open yet, so we could leave it a few months if you prefer and I can get a better one.

I took 3 of the Blue Moon Cafe because I'm not sure which would work best, so pick whichever you think.

You can see I'm pretty new here, so all I can suggest is try what worked for me; take a couple of photos that correspond to upcoming guide Entries and submit them here.

You weren't being ignored, or at least not deliberately. Before any Researchers are sent an invite to join Photographers, by Galaxy Babe, at least two out of the three Photographers moderators have to agree, Wilma is on extended holiday and I wasn't aware you had posted here until GB emailed me with a nudge in this direction.

I knew Giford & Elentari were in this thread and GB was dealing with their requests, so it wasn't a thread I thought I needed to read. You would have got a quicker response if you'd started a new thread.

Anyway, GB will be sending you an email soon. We're currently near the end of voting, once that's finished we look forward to viewing your photos and counting your votes. (You'll find out more in the Photographers forum. )
