The way Yahoo Groups for photographers is acting this afternoon, it will be 2nd April before I can upload any pics.

Yeah, I've noticed it too Scorp. It seems to effect the Photo section, more than the Files section, I didn't have any probs uploading Files.

Trying to take a pic.of an Ash Tree at this time of year will be a bit naff,it is not an evergreen so it will look bare.
I had another thought,would it not be a good idea to have entries for important dates,ie.St Georges day or the 4th,July,done well in advance.That way,they are on file and could make the front page.This happened,more by luck than judgement,with pancake day,my picture for crepe suzettes suficed.I note we are covering Easter early but there are many other dates we could consider getting done in advance

Don't worry about photos of Ash Trees Sue, if it doesn't get any submissions, it'll just go to the end of the queue, with a 'Seasonal' tag, so that it gets submitted at a more appropriate time.

We're already covering topical Edited Entries. Submitting the Pancakes Entry was discussed (behind the scenes) a couple of weeks prior, but time went so fast, then it was on us If we look back to November, we did it for 'Remembrance Day - Poppy Day' - A653924 too

'April Fools Day' - A516791 is at the top of the Database, and will very likely be among the next submissions in time for 1 April.

There are no Edited Entries for 4th,July, St Georges Day, nor for St David's Day. There needs to be an Edited Entry in order for us to submit photos for it.

If you know of any topical dates that have Edited Entries concerning them, (that don't already have a picture on them) let us know, and we'll gladly add them to the submissions at the appropriate time.

I now also have problems with yahoo quite often. I always get this message:
