*is really getting frustrated with the editors*
*starts looking for cheap airfare so he can find the H2G2 offices and force them, at gunpoint, to draw and add a towel smiley*

In answer to hobbit's question A little over a year ago the editors said that a towel smiley would be in the next batch
(see F615?thread=126132). They then proceeded to do other things like building a new DNA hub.
Now they have been promoted to running said hub and the new Community Editor is keeping quiet on when that new batch will be fothcoming.
I have been pressuring them unsucessfully since July of 2001.
My latest effort is at A780707

But where are they, Tac?
When I search under "smileys," all I find
is the same old ones we've had for the last year.

they are not on the smiley page yet because they were not ment to be used yet...you can put them on a page using the smiley tag with one of the 29 new smiley names...I think when everything gets uploaded then they will put them on the main list

I'm all for the Towel smiley, imagine what we can do with it... drying ourselves at the H2G2 swimming pool, having towel fights... it must be introduced. I'll also join this campaign...
