well, it's still at http://www.h2g2.com/A339527 but it no longer appears on my homepage or on the h2g2 search engine. what has happened to it?

Did you submit it for approval?
Submitted entries disappear off your page when they are going through the final stages of the approval process.

Ah, that'll be it then. It's been off for a couple of weeks though - does the final stage take quite long?

I varies wildly - according to how many pages are waiting to be announced on the front page at the time - a check with Anna (http://www.h2g2.com/U25 ) should provide a definitive answer.
