Considering the lucky escape we had with the y2k bug despite leaving it until 5 minutes to midnight before tackling the root of the problem does anyone agree that it is not too early to regognise and plan for the Y10K bug?

I'd say that is probably a good plan. Or we could just start forgetting which year it is and so will never need to worry about YxK bugs ever again...or change your religion, if indeed you had one...
