One general complaint I have is with musical numbers that are perfect without ever having been rehearsed.

I don't like the idea that Wally isn't looking forward to meeting Andre in My Dinner With Andre. I would prefer it if he was curious and looking forward to it.

I think Wally is tentative and shy. Later in the film he talks about being assaulted by the cold. I've always liked his persona in the films that he's made.
