Have you seen the series of entries ( C55684 ) I created on famous pirates, you may find some useful links amongst them to add into your entries.

i did see them (and read them) but i couldn't see where to put them - should i just put them in the 'reference' bit?

No you don't need to specifically link to them, when you're entry makes it into the guide it will be included in the pirates sub category along with my entries. I just thought that you may find some of the cross links I included amongst my entries that could also be used in amongst your entry. If none of them are useful then it probably dowesn't matter...
