A passing but deceptive likeness to a familiar person or object.
When you run up to a person in the street, slap them heartily on the back and exlaim "hello mate, fancy seeing you here," the complete stranger, who is now desperately hoping to spot a passing policeman, posesses a high degree of stevenage.

Yeah? How long do you thnk it takes? I don't know how long JDR took and he hasn't been back for anyone to ask, but all it takes is half-an-hour to look at a map, twenty minutes to sort through the easily-suggestible names and the odd few minutes leter to suddenly thnk of things for the rest. Typing in and formatting took about forty minutes. Or do you mean that it was fruitless to do all this, no matter how long it took becauseyou don't like it?

I'm back, and the answer is it took me ages. I'm of the DNA school of writing i.e. find it difficult to even get started, and then need quite a few rewrites before I'm satisfied.
