New words which I've heard recently (or made up):
"Egosurfing" - Entering your own name in a search engine to see how many times you are mentioned on the internet
"Blamestorming" - A meeting convened to find out whose fault it is that everything went wrong
Things which need words but I can't find any for:
- The act of checking your mobile when someone elses goes off, even if the ring doesn't sound the same
- The urge to walk down a platform in the direction of the stopping train
- Nonsense created by over-reliance on a spell checker. (For example, I recently emailed someone that we should
meet in the "Brassiere" as the spell checker didn't have "Brasserie" and I just pressed OK as a reflex)
- The flinch that happens just as you doze off
Any suggestions?

The two new words you gave reminded me of entries of ' new words ' entering common-day usage in what I think was Roget's dictionary.
The two ' new words ' I remember most were:
"Boxfarming" - refers to the new type of open-plan ofices where individual desks are separated by boards around them that form boxes across the floor. Anyone who has seen Keanu Reeves office in "The Matrix" will know what I am talking about.
"Prairiedogging" - of the boxfarmed office, when any load noise or disruption draws everyone's attention and leads them to stick their heads up over their box, apparently giving the impression of prairie dogs.
P.S I would love to know if you find a word for ' that flinch you happens just when you doze off '.

I don't know what it's called
But I know what causes it
Just before you doze off your brain begins to dream, I have a theory on dreams that I will be writing about shortly, it will explain more of this. Anyway, you brain begins to dream before you sleep, for some reason, unknown to the universe, you will be walking in this dream, and you will either trip, stumble, fall into a well, etc. I think it symbolises your passing into the dreamworld, and this falling is so real, that your spine instantly reacts, performing the movements nessecary to stop from falling flat on your face. Because you are lying safely in bed (or couch, back seat of car, etc.) your leg doesn't go through the actions correctly, giving you a slight twitch in your leg.
