Especially at Goose Green. Angry geese are not humble creatures.

I took it for granted that you would have at least a Magnum of the following:
1960/1961/1970/71 KRUG Champagne as the norm, the rest is fizzy pop!
Honestly...........A mere Magnum? Tssk....

A friend of mine owns a winery in Hawke's Bay, NZ. This is one of NZs top grape growing areas.

No Krug but some wonderful "methode champenoise".

Try some Montana Lindauer Brut. Fizzy, fresh and pleasantly touched with the flavour of toast as well as a mellow fruitness that leaves no doubt of its clean, green, New Zealand heritage.

New Zealand wine is now available in Britain if you look hard. You will be pleasantly surprised at the quality. Especially our chardonnays. They go well with goose, turkey and ostrich. smiley - bigeyes

Wow! what a small world we live in!
Just happen to have been to a splendid NZ wine tasting on Sunday.
Have some friends who have just decided to move into NZ.
Also a buddy is arriving in November and staying in Sydney for the 2000 celebs!!! NZ & Oz wines are extremely popular here, I now seldom but French stuff, mainly because the prices are too high, but also the quality is going down.
Had my first NZ wine, more than 15 years ago when I took my now ex fiance for a meal in the Malverns, the wine first served was Cloudy Bay, but I cannot remeber the grape variety.
For a little interesting wine banter from UK,California and Oz why not visit the following site and look at their wine pages.
The WebMasters are the ones coming over to NZ!

You may even find the Proff there.
