No, I think it's because I loaded a cover disk game demo, none of my Star Trek games will work now, and they were OK before. I'll have to get my Boss to look at it. Oh, I can't get the smily faces to work, either. Must be my machine.
Any job prospects? I have been redundant in the past, except it was a stitch up. However, I know how you feel about it. A couple of friends have also recently experienced it.

The good news is I own my home and had a good redundancy package. Financially I'm OK. A few of us are thinking of starting a free paper with local advertising and local news.

It is spring in 16 days. USA tennis Open next month, followed by the Rugby World Cup, followed by the Y2K celebrations, followed by the Olympics. All live on NZ TV. Thank goodness I don't have to worry about work.

I could move to Auckland and get a new job tomorrow but I don't really want to work for a boss again.

I became ever so 'umble when I discovered that 99% of free cover discs would screw something up on my computer, and I mean not perhaps, but When! Use them for target practice now, and my computer is feeling a lot better, but ever so 'umble.....
